Definition: Verbal communication is the process of sharing ideas, thoughts, and information using words, either spoken or written.
Types:
1. Oral/Spoken Communication
Involves face-to-face talks, phone calls, video conferences, speeches, interviews, meetings, etc.
Helps in instant feedback and building personal connection.
2. Written Communication
Involves letters, e-mails, reports, memos, notices, SMS, WhatsApp messages, etc.
Acts as a permanent record and can be referred back later.

Oral Communication
